Getting Started
Before you can start playing MathSquared, first you need to log in, select a puzzle level, and select a puzzle to play. Hover your mouse pointer over the image below and click on the hotspots to find out more.
This is the login screen that appears when you open the application. You will need to log in each time you open the app.

If this is your first time playing the game, create an account by touching the New Player button. A dialogue box will appear where you can enter your name, then click Save. The next time you open the app, touch the Log-In button to find your account.
This is the level selection screen. Here you can choose the size of the puzzle and level of challenge.

This key shows the different sized puzzles for you to choose.



The checkmark in the upper right corner and the filled-in boxes on the puzzle level icon means that the puzzle level has been completed; you have completed all of the puzzles in that level. You can still go back and try the puzzles again - there are many different ways to win each puzzle.



The partially filled-in boxes on the puzzle icon mean that you've started at least one puzzle in that level.



If a puzzle level icon is either blue, yellow, or red, that means that level is unlocked, or available to play.
This is the puzzle selection screen. You can choose any puzzle you want to try on this screen. All of the puzzles in a level are the same size and difficulty.




The checkmark in the upper right corner and the filled-in boxes on the puzzle icon means that the puzzle has been completed. You can still go back and try the puzzle again - there are many different ways to win each puzzle.



The partially filled-in boxes on the puzzle icon mean that you've started the puzzle but have not completed it.



When the puzzle icon is a light color, that means the puzzle has not been started at all.
